Show Your Bike a Little Love this Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, and you know what that means. It’s the one day of the year to spend a little extra cash and really show some affection for the one you love: your bicycle.

With the winter months behind us and spring weather looming it’s time to rekindle your relationship with your bicycle. Valentine’s Day is a great time to give your bike a little TLC.  At May Street Bicycles we got you covered.  Now is the time to let your bicycle know that you are actually listening, and you really do care. Stop ignoring the parts of your bike that are slowly eroding under the weight of your relationship, and fix them before your relationship comes to an end. Help it, so it can help you. Maybe you have the mechanical inclination to fix everything yourself, or maybe it’s time to finally bite the bullet and take it into May Street Bicycles.

So, light the candles and crack open the Cabernet Franc, we can provide everything you need to show your bicycle the love it deserves this Valentine’s Day.

1. We will draw your bike a romantic bath.  Daily riding and the general crush for time that comes with being an adult means that sometimes, you just let dirt and grime build up on your bike. Before you know it, your bike is filthy. For only $15 we will wash your bike and make it look spic and span.  We will make sure to get into all the little nooks and crannies, paying special attention to the chain and gears, but also get at the less mechanical areas such as the pedals, rims, spokes, and upper frame.

2.  We will lube it up for $5.  Once we clean your lovely bicycle, we will brighten its spirits with a little lubrication by applying a healthy dose of lube to the freshly-cleaned chain.

3. We will make sure you are caressing your lovely bicycle for $20.  We will ensure your bike can switch through the entire range of gears and make sure the cogs feel the love as well by adjusting and fine tuning the front and rear derailleurs.

4. When you want your bike to stop, you mean stop.  Are your brake pads nearly non-existent? We will help you with that too!  If you only need a brake adjustment we can do this for $10.

Finally #5.  Buy your bike a present.  For this entire week we are offering a 20% discount on all bicycling accessories such as: handle bar tape, tires, tubes, saddle bags, lights, pumps, to name a few.

You love your bike, and you love everything it allows you to do in your life. It works, it looks great, it has all the appropriate bells and whistles you need to get you through your day.
