A few days ago I posted on this blog about sled workouts (pulling and/or pushing) as a low impact option for general fitness and to improve your cycling and multisport performance. Here is another sled work out option you may want to try. By pulling a sled and pushing a wheel barrel you will use additional muscle groups as well get a great cardio session all at the same time. You will immediately feel your core engage, and your shoulders, fore arms and grip at work. You can go as heavy as you like for developing brut strength or lighten the load and go longer for greater endurance. Not to mention with this complex exercise you will burn a lot of calories.
